Morrow Church members helping in Haiti

Tim Roebuck and Bill Ehlers with local children at the Methodist Guest House, Port au Prince, Haiti, Nov 2010

Volunteers in Mission -  Tim and Bill traveled to Haiti as part of a Volunteer in Mission Team from New Jersey in November 2010.  Staying at the Methodist Guest house, they worked on two main projects; one building bathrooms for volunteers in the Methodist Church of Haiti's grounds and the other repairing buildings damaged by the January 2010 earthquake at a Methodist run Childrens' Orphanage.

They witnessed the devastation from the earthquake, seeing numerous collapsed buildings where some of the 250,000  people died on that dreadful day. The current most obvious consequence visible is the sea of tents, which are everywhere; on town squares, on roads, in peoples yards...simply everywhere is a tent, which is now home for millions.

Morrow will continue to support the rebuilding of Haiti and Bill and Tim look forward to returning soon.
