Morrow Memorial Church

Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF)

MYF is the Senior High School Ministry of the United Methodist Church (grades 9-12). It is the goal of the Church to invite youth of the community into fellowship service and mission as an integral part of our faith community here at Morrow. It's fun with a purpose and mission.

We play together, but we have just as much fun:
- Collecting food for Meeting Emergency Needs (MEND):  We collect over a ton of food every year!

- Working in the Christian Outreach Project (COP):  We spend a week during the summer of home repairs for persons in need
- Assisting in weekly Sunday morning worship services.

Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF)

JYF is part of Morrow's youth ministry for middle school children. Although we incorporate worship, Christian values and mission in our programs, JYF is unlike worship or church school. Our focus is on fellowship and fun as we "practice what we preach."

Our mission is to provide our children with a secure and nurturing environment within which they may:
- Build positive relationships with their peers, their families, the congregation and the community
- Develop a healthy appreciation of themselves and others
- Grow in self-confidence
- Explore ways of dealing with difficult issues that they face
- Learn to make decisions based on Christian values
- Become productive individuals that contribute to the community
- Have fun in age appropriate group events and activities

Additional Activities for Children and Youth

Morrow Church provides a rich variety of programs and activities for children and young adults.
We have an active Music Ministry, offering vocal and bell choirs for all ages, which perform during worship services, as well as our annual musical and talent show.

Sunday School classes are available before morning worship services and we offer a summer Vacation Bible School during August.

Morrow Memorial Preschool presents a Christian orientation toward developing a positive self-image, social development within a peer group, positive  interaction with other adults and  learning experiences through play and play materials.
